You should check with your mortgage lender to be sure they are not lending you more
money than the home is worth. To ease your mind and get a more comprehensive
understanding of a home, you can choose to have a homebuyer or building survey
completed.
Once they are satisfied with your real estate investment, they will email your solicitor your
mortgage offer along with all the necessary information.

Contracts can be exchanged once you’ve signed your mortgage paperwork and sent the deposit to the seller’s solicitor.  As a result, the sale’s terms become legally enforceable, and the home-buying process can be completed.
